BrightWire Adopts a New Logo!
After more than 14 years with our original logo, BrightWire recently updated the company logo with a more modern design. The new logo sports a new font style and bolder light rays off the BrightWire lightbulb, which is a reference to technology innovation.
Over the course of about a month-long process, the BrightWire marketing team solicited logo designs from around the globe through a design website called Logo Tournament. (www.logotournament.com)
The Logo Tournament service allowed us to answer a few questions about our business, and what we were looking for in a new logo. Once the Logo Design Brief was complete, the contest was launched the submissions came pouring in!
In total, we considered 316 logo designs from 46 different designers from all around the world. At times the process was a bit exhausting, but soon we were able to make tweaks to a handful of attractive logo candidates instead of working though big changes. Eventually we settled on a new logo that is reminiscent of the original logo, yet updated with a bolder font, and a more striking look and feel. The yellow underline swoosh in the new logo was a last-minute suggestion by the designer that we had already declared the winner!
