West Thurston Regional Fire Authority – BrightWire recently won the formal bid process to provide ongoing managed IT support services for the WTRFA.  BrightWire is currently working on several network infrastructure projects, one of which includes building better direct mobile connectivity to Thurston County 911 dispatch.

Cascadia Research Collective – BrightWire was recently tasked to identify and resolve an ongoing network issue and to recommend and deploy an upgraded backup solution.  We now provide managed IT services and ongoing project support.  Cascadia Research Collective is a leading scientific research and education organization with a research emphasis on whale and dolphin populations along the west coast of North America and Hawaii.

Washington Assoc. of School Administrators – BrightWire recently performed a formal network assessment and is now working to upgrade the backup solution and complete the recommendations for improved server reliability.

Jennie Patton, Attorney at Law – BrightWire recently won a competitive bid to complete a pending server/network infrastructure upgrade and will also provide ongoing managed IT support services to enhance her Consumer Bankruptcy and Personal Injury Practice.

Johnathan Doerrheim – John brings more than a decade of front-line IT support experience primarily with the Boeing Commercial Airplanes division and several of its manufacturing suppliers located throughout the Pacific Northwest.  John’s expertise in manufacturing support is a valuable addition to BrightWire and strengthens our abilities in this core market segment.  John and his family enjoy competing throughout the northwest in Flyball events with their Golden Retriever “Huckleberry”, who is rated Flyball Master Excellent (FMX).  We’re very happy to have John on our team!

Nathan Cole – Nathan recently moved to the Olympia area to accept a job offer with BrightWire.  Nathan had worked for an IT services firm that specializes in the healthcare market segment.  He is experienced with the deployment of Electronic Medical Records systems, which is a key focus area for BrightWire.  Nathan is an avid auto-cross track racer and competes with a heavily modified ’88 Mazda RX7.  We’re pleased to welcome Nathan to BrightWire and the Olympia area!

MJ Ledesma was recently promoted to a full-time position as Office Administrator and Service Dispatch.  With the additional Service Dispatch position, MJ is now responsible for service coordination of our technical staff.  This new capability will allow BrightWire to improve our service response for clients and build overall efficiency in our operations.

BrightWire partners Todd Whitley and Gordon Carlisle are traveling to Kansas City mid-June to attend a business improvement workshop hosted by the Taylor Business Group. Since 2009, the  BrightWire partners have attended these workshops to share knowledge and learn industry best-practices with a close-knit group of 10 other IT services company owners and partners. Each member company is held accountable to the highest standards in the IT Services industry. We consider our business peer-group to be an integral part of our continued growth and success.

BrightWire System Engineer Josh Sauer attended MVP Nation 2012 held at the Microsoft Conference Center in Redmond.  The two-day technology showcase drew expert speakers and attendees worldwide to learn about this year’s business technologies and the best practices for planning and deployment in today’s business environments.  BrightWire values these kind of opportunities to develop our professional team which enables us to better serve the businesses we support.

BrightWire Desktop Support Specialist Josh Sauer was promoted to System Engineer in February 2012.  Josh started with BrightWire in early 2010 and has worked very hard the past 6 months to earn the promotion. He works closely with the majority of our clients and is now responsible for managing increasingly complex network integration projects.  We'd like to take a moment to recognize his accomplishment and congratulate him on a well-earned promotion.

Josh Sauer recently completed coursework and passed an exam to be officially certified by Microsoft on the Windows Small Business Server (SBS) platform.  Windows SBS is the primary server platform the majority of our clients use to run their business.  Through a combination of real-world experience and diligent study, Josh has proven a high level of expertise and knowledge on the core systems BrightWire supports every day.
